She graduated from the University of San Diego, her previous experience in sportscasting includes the roles of MLB Network, New England Sports Network in Boston, Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles, and two stations located in Fresno. Watney attended Clovis West High School in Fresno which included hurdles, diving, gymnastics and cheerleading. [1] She was a National Merit Scholar.
